AI-powered curb management technology to help manage and ease traffic at the terminal.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — September 1, 2026 — Automotus, a leading provider of AI-powered curb management technology for cities and airports, today announced a partnership with Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) to modernize how the airport manages commercial curb activity.
In the first phase of the partnership, Automotus has installed a computer vision system at GRR's terminal commercial vehicle lanes. The camera system monitors vehicle volumes in real time and uses computer-vision and AI to identify commercial operators and fleet companies circling the terminal. The data gives GRR a clear, ongoing picture of who is using the commercial lane and how often, building the foundation for future automated permit and access-fee billing.
“Gerald R. Ford International Airport is exactly the kind of forward thinking partner we look for. This launch gives airport operations teams the real time curb visibility they need, without adding complexity to how they run their terminal frontage.” — Jordan Justus, CEO, Automotus
GRR joins a growing list of airports and cities — including Sacramento International Airport, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Greenville Spartanburg International Airport, Philadelphia, Houston, and others — deploying Automotus technology to improve safety, increase visibility and efficiency, and respond to increasing demands for curb use.
This phase focuses on building an accurate picture of commercial airport curb activity; with the ability to scale the technology into new use cases as GRR continues to experience record-breaking growth.
